A master service agreement was signed between Petrosea and PT Freeport Indonesia in May 2017 for Grasberg Wanagon Mining Services in Papua, with a 40-month contract. As of July 27, 2020, the contract is officially extended until August 31, 2021.

PT Freeport Indonesia and Petrosea continued to collaborate on phase two of the Levee project in 2018. PT Freeport Indonesia obtained a 40-month contract extension for the construction of levees at the low land area of its mining concession on 1 September 2018.
